The USDA inspected plant uses state of the art stainless steel processing equipment to insure the consumer gets the highest quality products possible. The plant is run under a U.S.D.A. approved H.A.C.C.P. program to maintain consistent quality control. Food Safety is not a job it is a way of life for us. Besides the USDA inspection we have third party food safety audits conducted to insure our procedures are working properly. Our ham products are post-pasteurized after being vacuum packed and then passed through calibrated metal detectors to insure you are consuming the safest product in the industry.

BRC Global Standard

Morrison Meat Packers is also proud to be a BRC Global Food Safety Initiative Certified Plant since 2011 passing all audits with the highest possible grade of A. The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) defines rules and standards for operation that insure the highest procedures for safety and quality are followed throughout all levels of the production facility. These GFSI standards are widely accepted as the most strict and demanding of any standard in the industry necessitating higher safety and quality control than required by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Since 1966 Morrison Meat Packers highest commitment has always been to to safety and quality of our products and GFSI standards is simply another way to insure our products are consistently excellent.
