Morrison Meat Packers is run under a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) approved H.A.C.C.P. program to maintain consistent quality control. USDA inspectors perform daily reviews of the facility in order to insure that all products meet specified safety standards. To meet these standards Morrison Meat Packers must continuously monitor stainless steel equipment, product temperature, employee hygiene, atmospheric temperature, sanitation procedures, facility conditions, accurate metal detection and multiple other factors that all contribute to a high quality product. After being vacuum packed our hams then go through a post-pasteurization process to insure you are consuming the safest product in the industry.

In addition, because Food Safety & Quality is not a job but a way of life, Morrison Meat Packers is proud to be a BRC Global Food Safety Initiative Certified Plant since 2011. Morrison Meat Packers has passed all audits with the highest possible grade of AA. The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) defines rules and standards for operation that insure the highest procedures for safety and quality are followed throughout all levels of the production facility. GFSI standards are widely accepted as the strictest of any standards in the industry necessitating higher safety and quality control than required by the USDA. Since 1966 Morrison Meat Packers highest commitment has always been to the quality of our products and the GFSI standards are the newest way in insuring the excellence of all products carrying our name.
